Ground Force | Field Proven Inspection

After nearly a year in the field with Ground Force we have much to share on what we learned. For those not familiar Ground Force is a mapping, management and field data software for infrastructure. Ground Force was developed leveraging decades of field data capture experience. Ground Force is unlike any other field data capture solution on the market – and this was precisely the intent. Ground Force is a pure software offering, can be deployed in days, can be used by any service provider and ensures the operator owns their data.

Pipeline construction inspection

Ground Force benefits:

  • Close the field reporting gap window

  • Find the needle in the haystack

  • Manage regulatory field audits and prevent delays

  • Mitigate pay item conflicts

  • Use any service provider and own your data

  • Projects delivered Tracible, Verifiable & Complete

configure, collect, validate and report

I worked with Blue Sky up front to create specialized inspection forms and roll-up reports that were unique to the project’s specific management and reporting needs. My client immediately appreciated all of the benefits of Ground Force and were amazed as to how quickly Ground Force could be modified to incorporate enhanced reporting and client requests as the project evolved with no impact to the project team.

Since last year Ground Force has been in the field to support inspection for some of the most complex pipeline construction efforts in some of the lower 48’s most challenging terrain. The construction spanned over 300 miles and required an unconventional approach. That’s where Ground Force was able to help. Ground Force was designed from the start to be highly flexible in activities tracked, methods of progressing and project specific reporting. So in addition to the existing robust dashboard, volumes of construction details were pre-loaded, dynamic forms were configured and deployed and project specific crossing reports were introduced to provide a granular level of detail – keeping Construction Manager’s on top of every aspect of construction.

flexible, scalable and cost-effective

Ground Force is flexible enough to tackle any field monitoring activity, scalable to start small, expand & contract with scope and cost-effective to fit the project. Ground Force will differentiate companies from their competitors, and enhance your relationship with your clients, enabling your team to monitor, inspect and report on any field activity.

We’ve been using Ground Force for the past year as we had a critical need for unfiltered high quality inspection reporting including photo documentation to be visible to the project management team the same day the field activities were being completed to allow us to know exactly where we needed to be focusing our attentions. We look forward to deploying it on our next project.
